• Create a constituent query
    • In the Available Fields frame, double-click the appropriate field under Summary Information
    • On the Edit Field Criteria screen:
      • On the General tab, select the appropriate operator and value
      • On the Filter tab, select the fields by which to filter the summary information

      • Click OK
      • Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each Summary Information field used

For example, to query on all constituents who have given $500 or more to the Annual Appeal 2002 and $500 or more to the Annual Appeal 2003:
        1. Create a constituent query
        2. In the Available Fields frame, double-click Summary Information, Summary for Gift, Total Amount
        3. On the Edit Field Criteria screen:
          • On the General tab, select greater than or equal to as the operator and enter 500 as the value
          • On the Filter tab, select Appeals, Description equals Annual Fund 2002

          • In the Available Fields frame, double-click Summary Information, Summary for Gift, Total Amount
          • When prompted, click Yes to the message, Do you wish to apply applicable criteria to this summary field?
          • On the Edit Field Criteria screen:
            • On the General tab, select greater than or equal to as the operator and enter 500 as the value
            • On the Filter tab, select Appeals, Description equals Annual Fund 2003

Note: The operator between the filter rows defaults to AND. Because we want everyone who has given $500 to both appeals, leave it set to AND. If you want everyone who has given $500 to one of the two funds, you would use OR.
