1. Create a constituent export
  2. Include query if needed on General tab
  3. On Output, go to Summary Information, Gifts, Average Amount (select parameters required on Gift Criteria)
  4. Include other field required on Output 
  5. Export data

OR

  1. Create a Gift query of the gifts to include
  2. Create a Gift export using the Gift query
  3. Export Gift Amount and any other needed information
  4. Export in Excel format
  5. In Excel, use the Average function to find the average amount.

OR

  1. Run the Statistical Report for the specific time frame with Gift Fund selected as the Field to Use and Average given per gift included as a column (on the Fields tab).
  2. Select desired filters and gift types.
  3. Preview the report.
  4. Look in the Total row for the Average given per gift column to see the average gift amount of all gifts in the date range.
