To assign a Job manually:

1. Open a constituent record

2. Select the Volunteer tab

3. Select the Job Assignments section

4. Select Add New Job Assignments to add a job manually





To assign the job based upon the Constituent's Volunteer Type:

1. Open a constituent record

2. Select the Volunteer tab

3. Select the Job Assignments section

4. Click Find Jobs

5. Check which Jobs to assign

6. Click Assign Now



NOTE:  In order for the Find Jobs button to work properly, the constituent record must have a volunteer type that matches the Volunteer Type on the Job record.  If a volunteer type is not indicated on the job record, it is a potential match with any constituent (regardless of their Volunteer Type).  If the constituent does not have a volunteer type, any job is a potential match.

Also, the Start and End Date on the constituent record must have a range wide enough to accommodate the start and end date of the job.  If dates are not present on the constituent or job record it’s a potential match.   Volunteer Availability must also be considered when checking for valid dates.
