Scheduling

 

  • In When creating a new class for a course restricted by pattern, you can select:


    • Always create meetings automatically
       
    • Ask to create meetings automatically



    Selecting "Always create meetings automatically" saves time because you do not have to respond to the prompt.




     
    • In When adding a room or teacher to a meeting, you can select:

      • Always reflect changes to other meetings automatically
         
      • Ask to reflect changes to other meetings automatically
         
      • Do not reflect changes to other meetings
         



      Selecting "Always reflect changes to other meetings automatically" saves time because your room and teacher assignments for one meeting automatically carry over to all meetings for the class.




       
      • If you mark the Reflect class schedule changes checkbox, you can select:

        • In all terms
           
        • In subsequent terms


        Selecting "In subsequent terms" is the most common choice as scheduling changes to a class in the first term usually need to be carried over to the subsequent terms. Having it done automatically by the program saves time.



         
        • If you mark the Reflect student schedule changes checkbox, you can select:

          • In all terms
             
          • In subsequent terms


          Selecting "In subsequent terms" is the most common choice as student scheduling changes in the first term usually need to be carried over to the subsequent terms. Having it done automatically by the program saves time.
