Users are able to create Actions in The Raiser's Edge from emails sent/received in Outlook to help track email correspondence between an organization and its donors. In some instances, users have seen that an Action note email message in The Raiser's Edge is preceded by "<Not Sent>." The occurs when a user is creating an Action in Outlook and when the "Create Action" button is clicked before the email is actually sent. By doing this, the email Action appears as "<Not Sent>" in The Raiser's Edge.
To avoid the text "<Not Sent>" from appearing on Action records created through Outlook, follow these steps:
Open a new email in Outlook.
Create a message.
Send the email.
Open the email in the Sent items folder in Outlook.
