To set up the performance comment field:

  1. In Configuration, click Registrar Setup.
  2. From the list on the left, select Performance Categories.
  3. Open the appropriate performance category.
  4. Select a performance level and click Open on the action bar.
  5. In the Report comment field, enter the information about the performance level to appear on report cards and transcripts.
  6. Repeat for each appropriate performance category.

To print the performance comment on the report card:
  1. In Mail, click Forms.
  2. From the list on the left, click report cards.
  3. Select a report card parameter form and click Open.
  4. Select the Details tab.
  5. In the Section column, select Performance.
  6. On the Performance Section screen, select a category to include in the Performance categories to include grid.
  7. In the Details Format column, select Short description or Long description
  8. The Heading column automatically displays the performance category name. You can enter a different heading.
  9. Mark the Print Comment checkbox to include the performance level comment on the report card. You define the comment on the performance category record in Configuration.
  10. Select the appropriate marking column in the Comment Marking Column column.
  11. Repeat for each performance category to include on the report card.
  12. Mark the Suppress blank categories checkbox to omit performance categories with no values assigned for the selected marking column.
