The Actions tab records any task to be completed by a faculty member for students, faulty/staff, individuals, or organizations. For example, Actions can include a phone call to a parent or parent-teacher conference.

You can assign an action to another person or yourself, and the program reminds you when the action is due. For example, if the guidance counselor needs to call to remind the parents their son needs to make up an exam he missed, you can assign the phone call as an action. When the phone call is due, the program reminds the counselor by adding an action reminder to that user’s Home page.

Another example would be if someone in the admissions office needs to call to schedule an interview with an applicant, you can assign the phone call as an action. When the phone call is due, the program reminds the user by adding a reminder to the Home page.
