In version 7.70.874 or higher, the setting for fund on the Records tab of User Options no longer determines whether the Fund ID or Description prints on the report. The Columns tab within the report itself determines which one prints.

In order to see fund description on 'summary by fund', use the following steps:

1. On the General tab, select Summary or Both
2. On the Format tab, highlight Detail and select Summarize by Fund
3. On Columns Tab, select Summarize by fund for Report View
4. On the same tab, move Fund Description to the grid of Selected Columns and use the Up/Down arrows to place the column where you wish it to print
5. Preview the report. The Fund Description should now print in the report

NOTE: If the Fund Description still shows, create a new report with the same parameters as the original report.
