So that student enrollment history can be tracked and accurately reflected on report cards and transcripts, any grades and attendance recorded in the original class section remain with the original class section.

When a student is transferred, the Class column in Grades > Enter grades by student for the course displays both sections, separated by a comma. The grades and skill ratings appear in the same row. Any cumulative grades are calculated using grades from both sections.

To make the change of section appear in a previous term, simply transfer the student in the previous term.

Assignment grades in Faculty Access for the Web will not transfer between sections.
