Note: Before you proceed with the following instructions, back up the database. If your organization integrates multiple Blackbaud products, refer to the Additional Requirements section of the backup solution.

 
     
    • Select Tools, User Options from the menu bar
       
    • On the Records tab, click Individual and select the Memberships tab as the Default tab and click Apply, OK
       
    • In Records, click Constituents, Open a Constituent
       
    • Click the binoculars next to Search using a Query at the top of the Search screen
       
    • Create or select a query of Members to change
       
    • Enter an asterisk (*) in the Last Name field and click Find Now
       
    • Open the first constituent and scroll through the constituent query using the arrows and manually delete the dropped transaction in history on each record  (ensure you are clicking on Delete just above the words 'transaction type'. If you delete it from the top of the screen, the entire membership history record is deleted.)
       

      Note: When deleting the dropped membership transaction, it changes the dropped membership to lapsed
