To change the Academic Year setup:

1. Open Configuration and click Academic Years
2. Select the appropriate Academic Year and click Open
3. On the General tab, select Track attendance by Day Only. Click Save and Close
4. Select Mail, Forms, Report Cards, and rerun report cards


To change the Report card setup:

1. Open the report card parameter and select the Details tab or the Summary/Notes tab depending on where the Attendance section has been defined on Report card
2. Open Attendance section
3. Select the Columns tab
4. Highlight the column in question and select Open Column
5. Change Field to Show from Number of Occurrences to Sum of Units
6. Click OK
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for each column that corresponds to a Marking column
8. Click OK and rerun report cards
