ID numbers have to be unique on a given record type (i.e. two student records cannot have the same ID number) as well as across record types (i.e. a student record cannot have the same ID number as an applicant record).


To find the record that is already using the ID number:

 

       
    • On the Criteria tab, select Person, Record ID.
     
    • Enter the ID which is causing the error.
     
    • On the Output tab, select Person, Full Name and Record Type.
     
    • Run the query to find the record using the ID.


    To update the records:
       
      • Enter a unique record ID on the Student Billing record.
       

      OR

       

         
        • Change the record ID on the applicant record in Admissions.
         
        • Change the record ID on the Student Billing Record to the desired ID.
