The Donor Category tables are the tables used to run the Donor Category report. Follow these steps to set up and/or edit donor categories:

  1. Go to Config> Tables
  2. Highlight the Donor Category table desired (e.g., Donor Categories - Table 1, Donor Categories - Table 2, etc.) 
  3. Click New Table Entry at the top
    • If users need to edit the categories, double-click on the name of the entry that needs updating.
  4. In the Name field, enter the giving level name (e.g., Sustainer, Benefactor, or Patron)
  5. In the Minimum amount field, enter the lowest level of giving for that particular donor category
    • If users want to have the first level/category to include donors who gave $1 - $499 and the second level to be $500 - $2500, the first entry to add would have the Minimum of $1 and the second table entry would have the Minimum amount of $500.
    • For example, if all constituents giving a total of at least $100,000 are in the President's Circle, enter $100,000 as the minimum amount for that category and President's Circle for the Name of the entry.
  6. Click OK
  7. Repeat these steps for each category in the table
