The font that appears when viewing data exported from a Blackbaud product into an Excel format is hardcoded to use MS Sans Serif font.  To use the default font defined in Excel, ensure to export in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format.  Font settings can be selected by changing the default font in Microsoft Excel 2003:

On the Tools menu, click Options
On the General tab, click a font in the Standard font box
In the Size box, type or click a font size

Microsoft Excel 2007:

Click the Microsoft Office Button image, and then click Excel Options.

In the Popular category, under When creating new workbooks, do the following:
In the Use this font box, click the font that you want to use.
In the Font Size box, enter the font size that you want to use.

Microsoft Excel 2010:

By default, Microsoft Office Excel 2010 uses the Body Font font in font size 11 (which is displayed as the Calibri font in font size 11 when you type data in a worksheet, header or footer, or text box). However, you can change the default font and font size for all new workbooks that you create.

    Click the File tab.

    Under Excel, click Options.
In the General category, under When creating new workbooks, do the following:
In the Use this font box, click the font that you want to use.
In the Font Size box, enter the font size that you want to use.
Click any other tab to return to your file.

Note:  You must restart Microsoft Excel to begin using the new default font and font size. The new default font and font size are used only in new workbooks that you create after you restart Excel. Existing workbooks are not affected.

All other formatting must be set for each spreadsheet separately.

If new workbooks are created and do not utilize the default information defined in Microsoft Excel, please contact Microsoft Support at  for assistance.
