The Master Schedule Grid provides a grid of course, room, student, or teacher schedules. You can restrict the data included in the report by school, academic year, session, and term. You can limit the periods, cycles, or times of the day that are included in the report. 

Note: Only students with a student progression for the selected academic year and school are included in the report.  

  1. On the Reports page, click Scheduling Reports.
  2. From the list on the left, select Master Schedule Grid.
  3. Click New on the action bar.
  4. On the General tab, in the Print schedules for field, select Courses, Rooms, Students, or Teachers.
  5. Select the appropriate options in the School, Academic year, Session, and Term fields.
  6. You can mark the Create an output query checkbox.
  7. In the Report orientation field, select Portrait or Landscape.
  8. In the Paper size field, select Letter, Legal, or A4.
  9. Select the Meetings tab to limit the periods, cycles, or times of the day included in the report.
  10. You can mark the following checkboxes:
    • Limit results to periods holding the first meeting of a class
    • Suppress cycle day description in grid
  11. Select the Filters tab to restrict the report's output based on the classes, courses, faculty, rooms, and students you select.
  12. Select the Format tab to determine how the report appears.

    For example, if you run the report for students, in the Sort/Break section, you can select grade level descending as the primary sort and student name ascending as the secondary sort. If you mark the checkbox in the Break? column for the grade level row, you can mark the following checkboxes:

    • Print count per Grade level
    • Print count as a percentage of total
    • Page break on each new Grade level
