How to add an existing document as an attachment to an Action
1. Open a new action 2. Select a category of Mailing 3. Click the Word icon next to the Letter field 4. A Word document is generated 5. From within the document, select File, Open from the menu bar 6. Open the existing Word document 7. Copy the contents of the document and close out of it. 8. This takes you back to the document that Raiser's Edge created from the Action 9. Paste the contents of the document here 10. Click the button to Save this Document to the Action. 11. Click the button to Return to the Action. 12. To access and open the document from the action record, click the Word icon at the bottom right of the action. This icon is next to the date.
