There are two methods of sorting records in a Crystal Report.  Either insert a group or do the following:
    • Select Report, Sort Records from the menu bar

      The Report Fields list box displays all fields currently on the report and you can choose to sort based on any of these fields. The Sort Fields list box displays the fields that are already sorted in the report.



    • Highlight the field to sort by and click Add to add it to the Sort Fields list box
    • Select the Sort Direction, Ascending or Descending, and click OK
    • Note that if you inserted a Group you can change the "in ascending order" default to "in specified order" to further control the order of the grouped field/formula values.
