For Blackbaud NetCommunity version 6.58 or higher
  1. Create your Favicon file according to the standards listed in Wikipedia. Ensure the file is named favicon.ico
  2. Save the image in .ico format on your local computer
  3. Login to NetCommunity and go to Administration > Site & Settings
  4. Select the site below the organization name (i.e globe icon) in the site navigation menu tree on the left.
  5. Click Browse next to the Favicon image (.ico) label to navigate to the file you created under the Settings tab in the General section,
  6. Select the file and click Save. You may need to clear your browser cache to see the new favicon image.
For Blackbaud NetCommunity version 6.58 or lower and you host NetCommunity
  1. Create a Favicon file according to the standards listed in Wikipedia. Ensure the file is named favicon.ico
  2. Place the file in the following location: [Drive]:\Program Files\Blackbaud\NetCommunity\Images
  3. Access your Blackbaud NetCommunity website to see the changes. You may need to clear your browser cache if you do not see the icon right away.
For Blackbaud NetCommunity version 6.58 or lower and Blackbaud hosts NetCommunity
  1. Create a Favicon file according to the standards listed in Wikipedia. Ensure the file is named favicon.ico
  2. Upload this file to your FTP folder within Blackbaud.com
  3. Click Chat with Support and reference this article. Please be prepared to share the following information with Support:
  • Username and Password to Access the NetCommunity website
  • Favicon.ico file

For any version - You want to add the favicon only to a specific page or template:
  1. Upload the favicon as an image to the Image library
  2. After the image is uploaded, edit the image and copy the image URL
  3. Navigate to the page or template you want to add the favicon to, and edit the page
  4. Click within a content pane and select New Part
  5. Enter a part name, then select part type Unformatted Text
  6. Click Next
  7. Enter the following code into the part : <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="paste image URL here" />
  8. Mark the box for Advanced
  9. Select In the head tag from the dropdown
  10. Click Save
