Vendor reports are designed to show activity at the vendor record level and not the account or characteristic level.
 

Note: It is recommended to use the Project Distribution Report or other Project reports in General Ledger to see vendor activity attributed to a project. In these report you can filter for one or more projects and also get additional characteristic detail if needed.

Create a custom report using a data file exported from a query:
 

     
    • Create a new vendor query
    • On the Criteria tab, select Invoice, Invoice account distribution, Project ID
    • Select the appropriate Operator of Equals, One of, or a Range
    • Save the query
    • Export the query from the database in an MS Access Report Writer Database format
    • Use the exported file as a data source to create a custom Crystal Report

      Note: The following steps only apply if Vendor ID was defined as part of the journal reference when the transactions were posted
       
      1. In General Ledger, Reports, click Project Reports
         
      2. Create a new Project Detail report
         
      3. On the Filter tab, filter on just the appropriate projects
      4. Filter on the Accounts Payable Journal code
         
      5. Export the report to Excel and sort the Journal Reference column (which typically contains the Vendor ID)
         
      6. Add subtotals to the spreadsheet if desired once the information is grouped correctly
