1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options from the menu bar
  2. Select the Security tab
  3. Highlight Trusted Sites and click Sites
  4. Enter the URL of the trusted site and click Add
  5. Click OK, OK

Note: If the URL begins with http:// instead of https://, unmark the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone checkbox.

To specifically add www.blackbaud.com:

  • In Internet Explorer
    1. Select Tools, Internet Options from the menu bar
    2. Select the Privacy tab and click Sites. If you are unable to see the Privacy tab, contact your IT department.
    3. Ensure kb.blackbaud.com, http://www.blackbaud.com/kb/index?page=home, and www.blackbaud.com are not listed as blocked
    4. If your organization is using a proxy server, verify it allows access to www.blackbaud.com
    5. Select Tools, Internet Options from the menu bar
  • In Mozilla Firefox:
    1. Select Tools, Options, Privacy. If you are unable to see the Privacy options, contact your IT department.
    2. Click Exceptions.
    3. Ensure kb.blackbaud.com, http://www.blackbaud.com/kb/index?page=home and www.blackbaud.com are listed as allowed
    4. If your organization is using a proxy server, verify it allows access to www.blackbaud.com
  • Google Chrome
    1. Click the 3 horizontal lines icon on the far right of the Address bar.
    2. Click on Settings, scroll to the bottom and click the Show Advanced Settings link.
    3. Click on Change proxy settings.
    4. Click the Security tab > Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites.
    5. Enter kb.blackbaud.com, http://www.blackbaud.com/kb/index?page=home and www.blackbaud.com, then click Add.
    6. Click Close > OK.
