1. In Accounts Payable, select Configuration.
  2. Select Posting Information.
  3. Highlight Invoice.
  4. On the right side of the screen, select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu on the appropriate row.
  5. Set a default length if appropriate.
Invoices posted from this point forward will have the edited inforamation in the Reference. This change does not affect invoices that have already been posted.
