What is the difference between Action Reminders on the home page and the Solicitor Action List dashboard?
Action Reminders that are displayed on the Home page include all actions assigned to the user who is logged in. They include only actions not marked as completed. Only actions within the reminder date range will display, for example if an action happens next week and is set to remind 1 day in advance, it will not display. This feature is generally used by users who wish to see what actions are assigned to them and what action they should be taking.
The Solicitor Action List can be set to include actions assigned to all users or any specific users. It is organized by the solicitor noted on the action. It can include actions based on the type, and can show actions within a specified date range. You can choose to include only open actions or include all actions. You can also customize the columns that are displayed to better suit your reporting needs. This feature is generally used by administrators or users who wish to see what actions are assigned to specific solicitors in the database regardless of the user they are assigned to.
