Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:

  1. If you are using Outlook 2007, open the email you wish to add to the Raiser's Edge.  Then click the Add-ins Tab and select Create Action.
  2. If you are using a version prior to Outlook 2007, ensure The Raiser's Edge toolbar is set to show:

    1. In Outlook, click View, Toolbars from the menu bar.
    2. Mark the option to show The Raiser's Edge toolbar.

    • If you are using a version prior to Outlook 2007 and the email has already been sent, open the email and select File, Create an action to The Raiser's Edge.
    • Ensure the Email Options business rule is set correctly:

      1. Log into The Raiser's Edge as Supervisor.
      2. Click Config, Business Rules.
      3. Select Constituent, Email Options.
      4. Mark the Automatically create an action for that constituent checkbox.
