In Faculty Access for the Web Setup, the supervisor can restrict teachers' rights to edit a marking column

This does not restrict teachers' ability to create categories/assignments and add assignment grades for the marking column. However, the marking column average and marking column grade are not calculated from the category averages.

If the supervisor changes the setup so the marking column is editable, teachers can instruct the program to calculate each class marking column grade.

If using FAWeb version 7.83 or higher:

  1. Log into FAWeb as the teacher.
  2. From the Gradebook menu, select Edit categories
