1. Create a new Vendor query
     
  2. On the Criteria tab select Summary, Invoice Count or Check Count under Available fields
     
  3. In the Edit Field Criteria screen, select Greater than or equal to as the operator and enter an amount of 1 in the Value field, click OK

  4. To select the time frame, while still on the Edit Field Criteria screen select the Filter tab
     
  5. Select Invoice date with an Operator of between, and enter the start and end dates, click OK

  6. Click OK on the Edit Field Criteria screen
     
  7. Select the Output tab
     
  8. Select any other fields to include in the results
     
  9. Select the Results tab to view the results
Note:
  • Query results can be duplicated if a type of the fields selected on the Output tab exist on the vendor record more than once, such as invoice number or phone numbers (home, work, cell, etc.). For example, if a vendor has 12 invoices in the date range entered in the query criteria, and invoice number is included in the Output tab, the vendor name will appear 12 times, once for each different invoice. 
     
  • To prevent duplicate rows, eliminate the field causing duplicates, or run a Year to Date Vendor Analysis Report using this Query.

Top Vendors is a Dashboard panel that will show a vendor ranking based upon either outstanding invoice balance, open PO balance, or total amount paid to the vendor.
  1. Click Dashboard on the navigation bar.
     
  2. Click Customize.
     
  3. From the Available panels in the left, expand Accounts Payable.
     
  4. Select Top Vendors from the list by double-clicking or highlighting and clicking Add.
     
  5. Click OK.
     
  6. The panel appears, to change the dates or the vendors that are shown, click Options in the upper right of the panel and select Properties.
