Try each of the following steps in the order until the issue is resolved:

  1. If another user has the same record open, have the user close the record.
     
  2. Exit and sign out of the program and reboot the workstation.
     
  3. Detach and re-attach the database by completing the following steps:
    1. Have all users exit and sign out of the program.
       
    2. Open the Blackbaud Management Console.
       
    3. Detach the database.
       
    4. Re-attach the database.

    If Blackbaud hosts your database, then try each of the following steps in the order listed until the issue is resolved:
    1. Exit and sign out of the Blackbaud application and try again.
       
    2. Have the user referenced in the message as having the same record open, close the record.
       
    3. Have all users exit and sign out of the program.
