If you are sending a mailing to a large number of constituents from The Raiser's Edge:
Globally send the email to a group using Globally Add Records. This allows the message to only appear once for the group instead of once per email being sent.
Note: We recommend that you contact your IT professional before making changes to your workstation to ensure the changes do not negatively impact other programs installed on your workstation.
The additional security check can be disabled in Outlook. We recommend that you contact your IT professional before disabling this security check, to ensure the change is consistent with your organization's security and/or email policies.
1. In Microsoft Outlook, Select Tools, Trust Center from the menu bar
2. Select the Programmatic Access tab.
3. Select ‘Never warn me about suspicious access’
4. Click OK
On occasion, the Yes button on this message has to be clicked multiple times in order for the email to be sent. Some users were able to resolve this problem using third-party software called Click Yes available for free download from http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/. This tool would also click Yes if a virus tries to send emails to your contacts in your Outlook. Alternately, an Outlook Security add-in, by MAPI Labs, could be used to specify program access to Outlook. This add-in can be found at http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/security/.
Note: ClickYes Pro 2010, which is a paid software, is required for Microsoft Office 2007 and above. When using ClickYes Pro 2010 processes will need to be added to the software to function.
Note: If Blackbaud hosts your database and has configured the Outlook integration, ClickYes is not an option as we are unable to install this on our servers.
Other users were able to resolve this issue using the following information on how to remove the ICQ add-in:
- On the Tools menu, click Options
- On the Other tab, click Advanced Options
- Click COM Add-Ins
- Click to clear the ICQ Express check box
Note: In Office 2007, select Tools, Trust Center from the menu bar and click Add-Ins.
