When submitting addresses for AddressFinder, we recommend sending the preferred address to be updated because this is the one the constituent prefers to be mailed to. (This is selected by default by AddressFinder.)

However, if the preferred address for an individual is the business address, this will probably not be updated. Addresses are updated based on what is found in the United States Post Office (USPS) National Change of Address (NCOA) database. For individuals, that address would normally be their home address. (Not many individuals notify USPS of their business address.) Therefore, it will not find a match.

In this case, when selecting the address to send, instead of selecting the preferred address, select the home address. (Note: The address types are user-defined. Therefore, your address type for home may not be 'Home'.)

There normally isn't a reason to send multiple addresses per constituent. However, if you want to do this, select All Addresses instead of Selected Address from the AddressFinder export parameters. If All Addresses are selected, you cannot specify the number of addresses to export. If a constituent has five addresses, all five address are sent and each address counts towards the maximum number of records you may send for each screening.
