To correct the cycle day for the first day of the term (and each following day):
 
  • If no attendance entries exist in that term:
     
    1. Open Configuration an click Academic Years
       
    2. Open the current Academic Year
       
    3. Select the appropriate Session and open it for editing
       
    4. Select the Terms tab
       
    5. Edit the First Day of Cycle for the appropriate term
       
    6. Click OK
       
    7. Save and close the academic year



     
  • If Attendance entries exist (you will receive a First day of cycle may not be changed because attendance exists for at least one date in the term message:
     
    • To correct the previous dates in the term:
      1. Open Attendance
         
      2. Remove any attendance for days that fall on or after the date to be changed. This includes student attendance entries and the Attendance Taken checkbox
         
      3. Repeat the first steps above to change the First Day of Cycle
      4. Re-enter attendance for all classes that was removed

    • To not correct the previous dates in the term but correct the current date and moving forward, make an entry in the Scheduling Calendar to designate a specific cycle day to start on a specific date:
       
      1. Open Configuration an click Academic Years
         
      2. Open the current Academic Year
         
      3. Select the appropriate Session and open it for editing
         
      4. Select the Scheduling Calendar tab
         
      5. Enter a new entry for the date where no attendance yet exists (for example, tomorrow)
         
      6. Mark the In Session checkbox
         
      7. Enter the specific cycle day that should fall on the date entered
