Error: The number of terms for the request do not equal the length in terms of the course when adjusting student schedules

The error: The number of terms for the request do not equal the length in terms of the course can occur when trying to enroll a student in a class or otherwise change the classes a student is enrolled in.  Normally this indicates that the course request has been entered for a different number of terms than the class is scheduled and the request needs to be adjusted.
Try the following to resolve this issue:
  1. In Scheduling, Enter Course requests by student, pull up the student in question.
  2. In the Terms column of the Course requests, for any request that does not have a specific start term defined (e.g.has "Any" Term listed), change the Term to a specific one.
  3. If student is enrolled in the correct classes, remove any unfulfilled alternate requests.
If Transferring students to another class:
  1. Transfer the student from Edit Master Schedule.
If deleting an unfulfilled course request:
  1. In the course record, Classes tab, open a class for the appropriate academic year.
  2. On the Students tab, delete the row for the affected student.
  3. Save and close the class.
