Blank addresses are processed and do count against the number of records processed in the AddressFinder service. No new information is returned for these addresses. AddressFinder cannot match blank addresses with any address information in the databases used by the AddressFinder service.
To avoid submitting blank addresses when running AddressFinder, use a query that filters on Preferred Address not blank.
For more information on how AddressFinder matches blank addresses, refer to "How does AddressFinder (US version) match addresses?" (BB121280).
