Try each of the following steps in order until the issue is resolved:
  1. The Registration page does not appear in NetClassroom for students without Student Progression Entries for the academic year for which the requests should be entered. Confirm the student has a Student Progression Entry for the appropriate academic year:
    1. In Records, Students, open the appropriate student record
    2. Select Student, Student Progression from the menu bar

  1. Confirm the student is included in a NetClassroom group:
    1. In Configuration, click NetClassroom and select Registration Setup
    2. Open the record for the appropriate school, academic year, and session
    3. In the grid at the bottom of the screen, open each group to determine if the student is included
    4. If necessary, add the student to the appropriate group

  1. Confirm the student has rights to access course requests on the current date:

    1. In Configuration, click NetClassroom and select Registration Setup
    2. Verify that date range entered for the group includes the current date

  1. Confirm the student's status matches one of the statuses marked in the Scheduling section (BB189596) of Business Rules

  1. Verify the system date for the Web server is correct

  1. In Registrar's Office, go to Configuration, NetClassroom, Features. Make sure Registration is checked for Features available for students.

  1. In Configuration>NetClassroom>Grades and Years to Display, check off the box for the academic year that students are entering course requests for.

  1. If you have made changes, such as to the relations' date range, determine if enough time has elapsed for the cache to clear.
By default, the cache clears in 60 minutes. You can edit this in the NetClassroom web.config file. Under appSettings, change the value specified in the following setting to a lower number (such as 10): add key="CacheExpiration" value="60"
    Important considerations:
Save a copy of the web.config file before you edit it so you can easily restore it if needed.  Changing the CacheExpiration value can impact NetClassroom performance.Or

Stop and restart the IIS Admin Service (BB41378)
