1. Open the employee record and select the Attendance tab.
    2. Select Attendance Records from the View drop-down menu.
    3. Click New Attendance Record.
    4. Select the appropriate Attendance Code.
    5. Enter the Start and End dates.
    6. Enter the hours used or credited in the A total of [ ] field and select Used or Credited.
    7. Enter a comment (optional).
    8. Select the Attributes/Notes tab and enter any appropriate attributes or notes.
    9. Save and close the record.
