    • Cash: Cash gifts include cash, credit card, check, debit card, and direct debit gifts
      • Pay-Cash: A cash gift applied to a pledge
       
      • Recurring Gift Pay-Cash: A cash gift applied to a recurring gift
       
      • Matching Gift Pay-Cash: A cash gift applied to a matching gift pledge


       
      • Gift-in-Kind: A gift-in-kind is a donation of goods or services for which you can easily assign a monetary value. Some examples of gifts-in-kind include furniture, computer equipment, and time donated by an accountant.
        • Pledge Pay-Gift-in-Kind: A gift-in-kind gift applied to a pledge
         
        • Recurring Gift Pay-Gift-in-Kind: A gift-in-kind gift applied to a recurring gift
         
        • Matching Gift Pledge Pay-Gift-in-Kind: a gift-in-kind gift applied to a matching gift pledge


         
        • Other: You can classify miscellaneous donations that do not fall under one of the other gift types as an other gift
          • Pledge Pay-Other: An other gift applied to a pledge
           
          • Recurring Gift Pay-Other: An other gift applied to a recurring gift
           
          • Matching Gift Pledge Pay-Other: An other gift applied to a matching gift pledge


           
          • Stock/Property: When a constituent donates stock or property, such as 100 shares of IBM stock or an estate, classify the gift as stock/property
            • Unsold Stock/Property: A stock/property gift that has not been sold
             
            • Pledge Pay-Stock/Property: A stock/property gift applied to a pledge
             
            • Matching Gift Pay-Stock/Property: A stock/property gift applied to a matching gift pledge
             
            • Sale Stock/Property: A stock-property gift that is sold
             
            • Stock/Property Gain: The difference between Unsold Stock/Property and Sale Stock/Property if it is positive
             
            • Stock/Property Loss: The difference between Unsold Stock/Property and Sale Stock/Property if it is negative
             
            • Stock/Property Broker Fee: The amount a broker charges for the sale of stock/property
             
            • Pledge Pay-Stock/Property (Sold): A sold stock/property gift applied to a pledge
             
            • Pledge Pay-Stock/Property Gain: The difference between Unsold Stock/Property and Sale Stock/Property if it is positive applied to a pledge
             
            • Pledge Pay-Stock/Property Loss: The difference between Unsold Stock/Property and Sale Stock/Property if it is negative applied to a pledge
             
            • Pledge Pay-Stock/Property Broker Fee: The amount a broker charges for the sale of stock/property applied to a pledge
             
            • MG Pledge Pay-Stock/Property (Sold): A sold stock/property gift applied to a matching gift pledge
             
            • MG Pledge Pay-Stock/Property Gain: The difference between Unsold Stock/Property and Sale Stock/Property if it is positive applied to a matching gift pledge
             
            • MG Pledge Pay-Stock/Property Loss: The difference between Unsold Stock/Property and Sale Stock/Property if it is negative applied to a matching gift pledge
             
            • MG Pledge Pay-Stock/Property Broker Fee: The amount a broker charges for the sale of stock/property applied to a matching gift pledge


             
            • Pledge: A pledge is a promise to make a donation; however, it is not a legally binding agreement. Pledges can be paid in single or multiple payments, called installments.
              • Pledge Current: Pledge installments that fall within the current fiscal year
               
              • Pledge Future: Pledge installments that fall within a future fiscal year


               
              • Matching Gift Pledge: Some companies match gifts that their employees or corporate partners give to nonprofit organizations. A matching gift pledge represents a matching gift company's promise to make a donation based on a gift donated by another constituent.
                • Matching Gift Pledge Current: Matching gift pledge installments that fall within the current fiscal year
                 
                • Matching Gift Pledge Future: Matching gift pledge installments that fall within a future fiscal year


                 
                • Write Off: When a constituent defaults or cannot make payments on a pledge, you can write off the pledge so the balance no longer appears as expected income.
                  • Pledge Write Off: A write off for a pledge
