• How does End of Year Processing affect grades, GPAs, report cards, and transcripts?

    • You can perform End of Year Processing before or after entering final grades and running final GPAs because each student has a Student Progression Entry for each school/academic  year/grade level combination. Student Progression Entries ensure grades and GPAs are associated with the correct grade levels.

    • However, if you include the Current grade field on report cards and transcripts, do not promote students using End of Year Processing before you print final report cards and transcripts for the academic year.

  • How does End of Year Processing affect course requests and scheduling?

    • You can run End of Year Processing before or after entering course requests and scheduling students in classes because the program does not refer to the Current grade field on the Bio 1 tab. The program refers to the Student Progression Entry to determine the correct school/academic year/grade level combination for requests and enrollments.

If you schedule students before running End of Year Processing and you filter students by grade level, be sure to select students' current grade listed on the Bio 1 tab. Do not select the grade level associated with the Student Progression Entry.
