1. When generating charges from automatic billing items, the date specified in the following fields defines the time period to base the student's grade level:
     
    • In Automatic Transaction Generation - the For grade-based billing, use student's grade as of field 
       
    • Adding a charge on the student's Activity tab - the Based on grade as of: field
       

  2. The student's grade level on that date is then determined by:
     
    • If Registrar's Office is not installed, the grade level is based on the Current Grade field on the Bio 1 tab of the student's record
    • If Registrar's Office is installed, the grade level is based on which Registrar's Office academic year the date falls within and the corresponding Student Progression Entry (BB136344) on the student's record

      Note: The date used when generating charges must fall within the date range of the academic year listed on the Student Progression Entry on the student's record.
    • If you are generating transactions for the next academic year, the grade level listed is the actual current grade level for the student, not necessarily the grade level used to generate the charge.
