When attaching a database in Blackbaud Management Console, users receive the following error: 'A database with this serial number is already attached to the console. Your database will not be available. It can be attached after existing database is removed.' This can occur when attaching a back-up of the same database that is already attached to the database. It can also occur when attaching a duplicate database after changing the serial number of the original.
