After registering the RE7Outlook.dll file, it is not added through the COM add-ins

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

Alternative solution for Outlook 2007:

1. If running Microsoft Vista on the affected workstation, refer to What steps need to be taken when installing Blackbaud products on computers running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008? before proceeding with the following steps.
2. Open Outlook and select Tools, Trust Center.
3. Select Add-ins.
4. Select COM Add-ins from the Manage drop-down menu.
5. Click Go.
6. Select the Blackbaud RE7 Outlook Add-in and click Remove.
7. Close Outlook.
8. Go to Start, Run.
9. Copy and paste the following command:
MsiExec.exe /X{86EF9EB6-DE10-4ABB-B221-D61972BB3C09}.
10. Click OK.
11. Click Yes when prompted with "Are you sure you want to uninstall this product?".
12. After the uninstall has finished, download and install the OutlookCDO from Microsoft.
13. Open Outlook and select Tools, Trust Center.
14. Select Add-ins.
15. Select COM Add-ins from the Manage drop-down menu.
16. Click Go.
17. Click Add.
18. Browse to the RE7Outlook.dll (usually in C:\Program Files\Blackbaud\The Raiser's Edge 7\DLL).
19. Click OK twice.
