In Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, when actions that require administrative rights on a workstation are requested, the user is prompted for administrator credentials, such as a name and password. When the user is an administrator, the user is still prompted to confirm the pending action.

If you do not require UAC security, you can turn it off to use The Raiser's Edge® without interruption. If you require UAC security, the AdminTasks.exe utility enables users to run Microsoft Windows 7 with UAC security turned on with minimal interruption.

For more information about Windows 7 User Account Control (UAC), contact your system administrator.
