• Select Comma Separated Values as the format.
     
    • Filter on any current statuses or students on the Filters tab.
     
    • On the Output tab, select:
      • Student, Student name
       
      • Student, Student Progression, Academic Year

        Note: Enter one as the number of student progressions to export. On the Filters tab, select the previous academic year.
       
      • Student, Student Progression, Grade Level
       
      • Student, Student Progression, Academic Year

        Note: Select Yes to the The field already exists in a group. Do you wish to add a new group? prompt. Enter one for the number of student progressions to export. On the Filters tab, select the current academic year.
       
      • Student, Student Progression, Grade Level
       
      • Export the file.
       
      • Open the file in Excel.
       
      • Compare the values for the current academic year to the previous academic year by subtracting the grade level values of the previous year from the current year.

        Note: You may need to replace any text entries with a numeric value. For example, you can replace K with 0.
       
         
        • Place your cursor in the second row of the first blank column in your data sheet.
         
        • In the formula field, enter =(E2-C2) where E2 represents the first cell with the current year's progression grade level and C2 represents the previous year's progression grade level.
         
        • Press Enter.
         
        • Highlight the cell with the formula and drag down the remaining column.
         
        • Look at any student with a value of less than 1 in the formula column.
         
        • Manually adjust the progression grade level and the grade level on the Bio 1 tab, if appropriate.
