The InstallSource references the location, on the server, where the deploy folder resides.
The registry value should end in a backslash (\) and can be in any of the following formats:
- UNC Path to a network share (Example: \\bbserver\deploy\). Recommended.
- IP Address to a network share (Example: \\192.168.1.56\deploy)
- Mapped Network Drive (Example: Z:\deploy)
- Local System Folder, if the machine is the server or is installed as a standalone (Example: C:\Program Files\Blackbaud\The Raiser's Edge\Deploy\)
It is important that the users of the workstation have the ability to access to the deploy folder location. If they do not have access, then workstation settings will not be automatically updated.
Note : Incorrect changes to registry settings can cause serious system problems that may be irreversible without reinstallation of the operating system. You must back up your registry before making any registry changes. We are not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect use of the Registry Editor.
