The term cannot be not selected in any Marking Column Sets:
  1. Go to Configuration, Registrar Setup, highlight Marking Column Set.
  2. Open the Marking Columns and check to see if the selected term is listed.
Create a new Student Query to see if course requests exist for that Academic Year:
  1. Create a new Student Query.
  2. On the Criteria tab, select:
    Course requests, Academic Year equals [year]
    AND Session equals [Session]
    AND Term equals [term]
  3. On the Output tab, select Students, Bio 1, Full Name.
Delete all course requests associated with that Academic Year:
  1. Go to Scheduling, Enter course requests by student.
  2. Open each student in the query.
  3. Remove the requests that exist for the term to be deleted.
  4. Delete the term from the desired session.
Delete Generate Master Schedule or Generate Student Schedule parameters in Scheduling where the term may be in use.

Create a new Course Query to see if course restrictions exist for that Academic Year:
  1. Create a new Course Query.
  2. On the Criteria tab, select:
    Course, School equals [School]
    AND Restrictions 2, Academic year equals [year]
  3. On the Output tab, select Course, Course name
The restrictions must be modified or deleted if the course is set up to be scheduled during the term that will be deleted:
  1. Go to Records, Courses.
  2. Open the appropriate course and click the Restrictions 2 tab.
  3. Delete the restriction for the appropriate academic year OR modify it to not include the term to be deleted.
