Follow the steps below until the issue is resolved:
  1. Add the attachment by following the steps in How to add, edit, or delete attachments in a Constituent record
  2. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader X outside of The Raiser's Edge, agree to the license agreement, add new Media, select the option in Adobe "Always open in Protected Mode," and save and close.
  3. Make sure that the version of Acrobat is compatible with your version of Blackbaud software (i.e. The Raiser's Edge, The Financial Edge, The Education Edge).
  4. Uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  5. Manually update/repair the workstation.
