Note: In versions 7.94 or higher, the Phone Address Import ID does not need to be included in the import file.

If using a Constituent>Constituent Phone Import and importing new phone numbers:

OR

  1. Open the saved Import.
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. Under Options, mark Import records not found as new.
  4. Click Update Now to complete the Import.
If using a Constituent>Constituent Import:

On the Fields tab of the import, ensure each field has the correct extension

  • For example, you are importing phone numbers in a constituent import. The Phone Address Import ID field has an extension of 00. The Phone Number field also has an extension of 00, but the Phone Type field has an extension of 01. In order to import any piece of phone information, The Raiser's Edge must have the phone address import ID. Without this information, it does not know which phone number to update. Because the phone type has an extension of 01, it does not relate to the phone address import ID and this error appears on the exceptions report.

OR

Verify that the Phone Address Import ID is valid.
