Ensure the patch is running even if the Task Manager reports "Not Responding":

 
     
    • Start the process to apply the patch if it isn't started already. [ The Financial Edge \ The Raiser's Edge ]
       
    • Open the Task Manager and select the Processes tab
       
    • Mark the Show processes from all users checkbox
       
    • Locate any msiexec.exe image names in the "Image Name" column
       
    • If there is activity on any of the msiexec.exe processes, the patch is running successfully and needs time to complete.
