To ensure grade comments and class notes print in the same font on report cards and transcripts, you must set the following two business rules to the same font type and font size.
 

  • In Configuration, Business Rules, General, you can select a font type and size in the When creating a new note, use... field.

    Note: This business rule applies to newly created class notes, not notes that existed before the rule was set.
 

 

  • In Configuration, Business Rules, Grades, you can select a font type and size in the When posting grade comments from FAWeb or entering new comments in grades, use... field.

Notes:

     
    • To prevent formatting errors on report cards and transcripts, make sure Faculty Access for the Web users know which rich text formatting options are supported for notes and comments.
     
    • Users in Faculty Access for the Web and The Education Edge can override the business rule font by manually selecting a different font when entering a new class note. The font chosen by the user will display in The Education Edge (including on Report Cards). To ensure all notes are entered with the business rule font, administrators may need to advise users to not select a different font when entering class notes.
