In Office 2007: 1. In Configuration, select Letters. 2. Create a new Letter. 3. Click the Add New Blackbaud Word Merge export icon. 4. In Tools, Export options, change the Export format from Blackbaud Simple Word Merge (DOCX) to Blackbaud Simple Word Merge. 5. Click OK. 6. Select all merge fields as Output fields. 7. Click Edit Merge Document. 8. Add the text of the letter and insert any merge fields. 9. Click Save and Return to RE7 to merge. 10. Click Save and Close to close the Export. 11. Click Save and Close to save the new letter.
