Incorrect meetings scheduled when scheduled by block or when meetings that last more than one period

Meetings that last more than one period appear incorrectly on the Meetings tab.  For example, if a class is scheduled to start Monday, Period 1 and last 2 periods, the class meetings may appear for periods other than Period 1 or Period 2 on that day.  The incorrect meetings also appear in schedules and occur even when a class is scheduled by block.  This issue appears to have presented after changing the end time of periods that the meetings are scheduled in the Timetable.

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

Alternative Solution (when the class is scheduled by block):
  1. Ensure all users are out of Scheduling
  2. Ensure you have a valid backup of the database before proceeding
  3. Go to Configuration, Academic Years, Registrar Setup, Patterns and open the appropriate pattern
  4. Open the appropriate block
  5. For the affected cycle day, change the Length in Periods.  For example, change the value from 2 to 1.
  6. Click OK
  7. Click Save and Close
  8. Select Yes at the prompt 'This Pattern is already in use. Saving these changes will update any information using this Pattern.  Do you want to continue?'
  9. Ensure that only the appropriate academic years/schools are marked and select OK on the Update Setup Process screen
  10. If correct, select OK on the screen that lists scheduling scenarios and courses/classes.
  11. This may take a few minutes to complete.
  12. When complete, re-open the pattern
  13. Re-open the block
  14. For the affected cycle day, change the Length in Periods back to the original value. For example, change the value from 1 to 2.
  15. Click OK
  16. Click Save and Close
  17. Select Yes at the prompt 'This Pattern is already in use. Saving these changes will update any information using this Pattern.  Do you want to continue?'
  18. Ensure that only the appropriate academic years/schools are marked and select OK on the Update Setup Process screen
  19. If correct, select OK on the screen that lists scheduling scenarios and courses/classes.
