When exporting the split gifts amount via the Campaign > Campaign Amount, Fund > Fund Amount, or Appeal > Appeal Amount, the value that is exported within these fields are strictly the amount of the split that is accredited to the specific Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals.  It does not link the amounts to a particular combination of Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals - just the overall amount that has been listed towards the listed Campaign, Fund, or Appeal.

For example, let's say you have a gift that is split as follows:

1/1/2010             \$100.00                   Campaign-1                 Fund-A                 Appeal-1            \$50
Campaign-1                 Fund-A                 Appeal-2            \$35
Campaign-1                 Fund-B                 Appeal-1            \$15

When you export this gift, and the Campaign > Campaign Amount, Fund > Fund Amount, and Appeal > Appeal Amount, the different amounts are going to be exported as follows for this particular gift:

Campaign-1 Amount: \$100
Fund-A Amount: (\$50+\$35) = \$85
Fund-B Amount: \$15
Appeal-1 Amount: (\$50+\$15) = \$65
Appeal-2 Amount: \$35

When you put this into a Crystal Report and group on the Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals, this is how it would translate:

Campaign-1
Fund-A
Appeal-1 Amount: (\$50+\$15) = \$65
Appeal-2 Amount: \$35

Fund-B Amount: \$15
Appeal-1 Amount: (\$50+\$15) = \$65
Appeal-2 Amount: \$35

As you can see, your grand total is double your actual gift.  The only way to get the correct amounts to export for gifts that are split between a combination of Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals are to enter each complicated split as a separate gift.
