1. Select New from the Select Data Source screen
  2. Complete the wizard which will create the new data source
  3. Preview the custom report

If the Custom Report should be using an export instead of an ODBC connection, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the export and click Export Now to re-export the data
  2. Open the report in Crystal Reports
  3. Point the report to the correct export file
    • Go to Database > Set Datasource Location
    • In the Replace with box at the bottom, click "+" next to Create New Connection
    • Click "+" next to Database Files
    • Browse for the export file and click open
    • Click on the export file path and click Update
    • Click Close
  4. Save the updated report
  5. Preview the Custom Report again
